What Alabama asks for
RN/LPN – 24 contact hours of CE per license period. APRN – 24 contact hours, including 6 contact hours of pharmacology. Newly licensed nurses must complete a 4-hour mandatory Board course before their first renewal RN/LPN, APRN - 30 contact hours of CE per license period.
