Oregon Nursing Continuing Education Requirements
- RN Requirements
- Every two years:
- 400 nursing practice hours
- 20 hours of continuing education if less than 600 hours worked in last 3 years
- 30 hours of continuing education If less than 800 hours worked in last 4 years
- Less than 960 hours of practice in prior 5 years must apply for practice re-entry
- 2-hour cultural competence continuing education
- One-time requirement – 7 hours on pain management
- 1 hour must be the Oregon Pain Management Commission module

- 40 nursing practice hours
