This course explores key aspects of transgender healthcare, including definitions, relevant terminology, and the psychosocial challenges faced by this population. It also outlines available treatment options, such as hormone replacement therapy and gender-affirming surgical procedures, along with nursing considerations that support inclusive, respectful, and effective care in clinical environments.
Objectives
